Accessibility at Middleman
Last updated July 21, 2026
Our commitment
Middleman is for every homeowner and every professional — including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, voice control, magnification, or other assistive technology. We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA across our website and mobile apps, and we treat accessibility as part of building the product, not an add-on.
What we've done
Recent work across the Middleman website and apps includes: screen-reader labels and roles on buttons, forms, and images; announced status and error messages; proper dialog behavior for in-app alerts; visible-state announcements for selection controls and ratings; text descriptions for photos shared during a job; and color-contrast improvements to meet AA throughout, in both light and dark mode.
Work in progress
Accessibility is ongoing work, and we're honest about that. We continue to review new features before release, sweep older screens for decorative content that assistive technology shouldn't announce, and test with screen readers on iOS, Android, and the web. If something isn't working for you today, we want to know about it — and we'll fix it.
Tell us what's not working
If you hit a barrier using Middleman, contact us and we'll make it right. Email elijahmiller0127@gmail.com with "Accessibility" in the subject line, or use the in-app "Message the Middleman team" support chat. Please tell us what you were trying to do, the page or screen you were on, and the assistive technology you were using.
We answer every message, and accessibility reports go to the front of the line. If a barrier prevents you from completing something in the app, we'll help you complete it another way while we fix the underlying issue.
